I was basing it off of the fact it was written as what seems an EOT award.
But yes the award system is broken, and to defend what I commented, a SSG has to be one piece of shit dirt bag to only rate an AAM as an EOT award. (Which again, was my original thought)

People get EOT awards as late deployers who only spend 3 months (sometimes less) in theater. Doesn’t mean you’re a shit bag. Or early re deployers. He blocked out the dates.

It was a blanket award. Our s3/xo wanted to give everyone C devices for those who went to Iraq/Syria/Jordan and R devices for those who stayed in Kuwait, along with our “deployment” award.

This is the Army I know and love.
When I commissioned, somehow they updated my army email contact information to have part of my last name as my first, part of my last name as my last name and my first name as my middle initial.

The same s1 shop put the wrong social on my good conduct medal memo, and filed it with the wrong social.
I don’t know who’s iperms it went into, but someone has a good conduct memo filed they will have to remove.

My last PCS award is for me as a fueler. I was just the ncoic of the fuelers but was a mechanic. 1SG swore that it needed to say petroleum supply specialist.

Their verbiage is wrong or at least in the eyes of my old BC. If the award said meritorious service the award should be a MSM.
