Rise of the Resistance Megathread
All posts regarding RotR will be spoiler tagged for one month. If you see a post about the attraction without a tag, please report it!

Boarding Group Info
Download the Disneyland app! From there you'll find a ‘Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – Access by Boarding Group’ module on the main page of the app.
After you scan into the park, you can then request to join a boarding group. You must have a ticket scanned into Disneyland.
Make sure to allow notifications! That's how you'll know it's your turn to head to GE and start queuing up for your ride. You can also check the status of boarding groups on the app as well.
The queue becomes available during the published park hours. It has not been confirmed that it will be available during magic morning.
If you don't have the app (which you really should anyway), you can join the queue from other locations in the park, like the old Star Tours fastpass location. Just look for signage if you get lost, or ask a cast member.
The ride is extremely advanced and has a tendency to go down often. There is a chance that you may not be able to ride it. Being part of a boarding group does not guarantee you a spot to ride.
Our best advice is to rope drop and have the app.
That being said, please remember to be kind to Cast Members, both around GE and in the park in general.
