Has there ever been any sort of item passed around the world by redditors?

I ask, because I am going to do some extensive traveling for the first time and think it would kick ass to put some sort of ridiculous object "on permanent world reddit tour."

Mailing stuff is cool and all, but I think for this attempt, it would be cool to hand off the object at each transfer point.

what do you all think?

I will start my journey in San Francisco (Reddit Headquarters), so maybe the object should originate from there?

edit again: Since this object should be easy to pass from person to person, and travel with let's keep it scrapbook/notebook sized?
