The meetup this month will be at A Bar Named Sue. If you haven't been here before, it is a roomy basement bar with live music, dancing, and free games such as pool, ping pong and darts. Come join us!
The deets
When: Saturday the 25th @ 9pm
Where: A Bar Named Sue - 3928 Highland Dr. (Not the one on State St)
What: Meeting strangers from the internet. Drinking (or not). Playing games. Making new friends
Who: You and maybe your non-redditor friend you convince to come along.
Who else: Usually 10-20 people. Generally an even mix of men and women, and a mix of ages 21 thru mid 40's.
Why:
- Because you made that new years resolution to be more social and meet new people.
- Because you had a busy week and earned a night out.
- Because you moved here a while ago but still need to make new friends.
- Because tinder has been pretty basic lately.
- Because most accidents happen near home, so you should get away for safety’s sake.
- Because you can reschedule your plans with your cat for Sunday.
- Because your house arrest has been lifted.
- Because when someone asks what you did over the weekend you’ll have an interesting answer.
- Because you left your social anxiety in 2019.
- Because it’s the 4th Saturday of the month so Dry January is basically over anyway.
- Because you need new people to pitch your MLM to.
- Because you’re curious what redditors look like.
- Because when photos get posted you'll be thinking "oh, I should've gone".

I could really do with getting out and meeting people, but I've got a good idea they won't let me in unless I wait around for half a year. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure everyone will have gone home by then lol.
We'll try an activity sometime soon without age limits. Maybe bowling? Sledding?
Right on! I'm cool with just about whatever, I'm more interested in meeting people than what exactly it is that we're doing. I need a social group lol. I'll keep my eyes open for it and hopefully I'll be able to come!
