What should I upgrade from my current rig? (Help)

Hey everyone! I'm a huge VR fan and I don't get many performance problems with my current rig but I would like to have n o performance problems.

This is a list of my specs:

Motherboard: MSI Z390 A PRO

Cpu: Intel i5 9600k

Cpu cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Graphics card: GTX 1070 Founders edition

Ram: 16 Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400mhz

Drives: 2 500 Gb HDDs, 1 500Gb SSD and 1 2Tb SSD

I think everyone is going to recommend that I upgrade the CPU but I've been looking at getting an RTX 2070 super for a while now and I don't think it'll be bottlenecked. Anyway, thanks!

Faster ram- it’ll help get you about 5% more FPS in games. I’d hold off on a gpu for now since ampere will be out later this year and should give a sizable gain over Turing and even more so over Pascal.

You DO NOT need to upgrade your CPU. I just saw you have 2400mhz ram that’s bad. Get a 16gig 3600mhz ram kit from Corsair for $81. Get a 2070 Super and your set. Make sure you tune on XMP profile in the bios. Your losing around 30fps with your current build just because of the slow ram you currently have,

That CPU is great! It’s going to last a long time because of its top-tier gaming performance. I would probably upgrade the RAM and GPU, if anything.

faster ram and wait for new nvidia cards :p (or amd if you want)
