Any consensus on the best wireless earbuds for around $100 or less?

Seems to be tough to pick good all arounders, especially for Pixel because the Samsung buds (which are about $110) work better on Samsung phones apparently.

Any suggestions? I don't think the Pixel Buds 2 will be worth it, for me. Would rather pay less for a slightly worse experience.

Anyone with a Pixel and Samsung buds, with a good or bad experience with the pair?

I have the Galaxy Buds and just got a Pixel and they work great... No issues. Samsung isn't as bad as Apple, trying to keep everything proprietary.

They'll connect as a Bluetooth device, but you don't get all the fancy additional features. Example, the instant pairing and the battery percentage being displayed.. little things like that. At the price you pay for them, you might as well get some Jabras or something where you can customize things.

Any major lag?

I guess my only worry is that the buds 2 are on the horizon but I think they're expected to be like $170-$190.

Zero lag or issues I used mine with S10e then Pixel 3 which wasn't as top tier as the S10e

They work great with my pixel 4 too

I love my 1more Stylish buds. Last I checked they were $80 down from $100 on Amazon. Sound is excellent!

I just picked up a pair of JBL Free X for $75. They aren't worth the $150 full price, but they work pretty well in the week I've had them. There's been a few connection issues, but putting them back into their case to disconnect them fully and then taking them back out has resolved everything.

Pros:

From a brand I've heard of.

$75 price is pretty good

Sound is pretty nice considering all the high end Bluetooth buds are double price or more.

The connection is pretty seamless (minus a couple occasions)

The on-bud controls are pretty simple (pause/play, next/back, and answer/hang up)

Fit alright

Cons:

There's been a few connection issues. They resolved easily enough so it might just be what life with Bluetooth headphones is like, but still it's a bit obnoxious.

There's no on-bud volume control

The on-bud controls are disguised as the whole face of the unit and are quite clicky. The click noise is a bit harsh. I hope it breaks in a bit with more use.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with them for my first pair of Bluetooth headphones.

Soundcore Liberty Air 2, if you don't mind the AirPod styling.

Cambridge Audio Melomania 1. Hands down the best true wireless earphones I've used, when it comes to sound quality. The microphone is a bit weak though. But their sound is beautiful for their price and for being wireless. Also the battery life is astounding. Highly recommend checking them out.
