Help with a mod
I’m wanting to take the red scarf from Star-Lord and make it gray for Jessica Jones. What’s the best way to do that? Marker? Paint? What brands? It’s my first time, so please be gentle.

What u/Trekformer said is a good idea, but honestly the scarf is a small enough piece where you can get away with painting it. You probably don't even need to prime it either, but I would use a Clear coat on it to protect it.
Edit: I'm a big dummy and didn't include brands. This might not be the best, but I personally use "Painter's" paint markers with Testor's clearcote.
Appreciate it. So far the most I’ve done is head swaps, so fingers crossed.
Try dying it. Here's a tutorial on YT I found really helpful. https://youtu.be/VPFyz2NSCGY
Actually a wwe chris jericho came witha grey scarf heres a picture https://www.google.com/search?q=chris+jericho+action+figure&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi1xananqTnAhX2hXIEHVMqDuYQ_AUoAnoECAsQBA&biw=1745&bih=886#imgrc=37L6P0QBpgPGjM:
I assume you're probably going with the Star-Lord scarf since you already have the figure, but one popular way to give Jessica her scarf has been to take the cowl from a Jyn Erso figure from Star Wars: The Black Series and cut off the hood. Here's a guide.
That’s SO much easier. You’re the real MVP.
Glad to help.
