[Finale] I’ve watched Arrow since season 1 and been a member of this community since season 2 and this was great finale to a great show and I’m really glad I got to spend these 7 odd years with yall

I loved it. I started watching the show back in season 1 and even though there were seasons I hated it this was a satisfying conclusion for me vs a lot of terrible finales I’ve seen over the years

• Reunited all the major characters and literally brought back some who were killed off which was just nice to see them again and it not be a flashback
• Thea and Roy ending up together was needed
• Barry and Kara showing up to the funeral was something I really wanted but wasn’t sure they could make it happen
• Diggle becoming Green Lantern is epic and a good ending for him as well
• Nyssa and Sara reunited
• That Lance and Laurel final scene
• Prime Oliver fight scene

Was just all around a really satisfying finale. I know people will have wanted more but I would like to point you to HIMYM which took a safe ending for the fans and threw it off a cliff

How the fuck do you build up the character of Barney through multiple seasons of the show. The most popular character on the show. Take him from a womanizer to falling in love and settling down with Robin who he’s had serious chemistry with since season 3. A relationship that was the focal point of the back half of the entire show, make the final season about their wedding weekend

AND IN TWENTY GODDAMN MINUTES YOU UNDO IT TO GIVE TED AND ROBIN THE ENDING BARNEY DESERVED AND INSTEAD GIVE HIM A RANDOM FUCKING CHILD TO TAKE CARE OF

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK

The said for years they had multiple endings planned with Bob Saget talking to the kids but I don’t think that’s the case at all

I think they had one ending filmed after the first season and it was a finale to the pilot which had Ted winding up with Robin and everything they did after that mattered for nothing

That ending was so GODDAMN bad that I can’t even watch reruns of HIMYM and that was my favorite show for years.

I watched that show from the pilot and they ran into a fucking brick wall in one episode
