Be careful out there
My aunt was shot this morning while taking her two youngest children to school on the North side of Madison. The shooter was driving a black impala and boxed her in. Thankfully the injuries were minimal but remember to stay safe no matter where you are.

This one? Sounds like it was targeted if so.
That's the one. We are African Americans so you may be correct. The drive to her destination was only 5 minutes so a simple case of road rage or whatever seems unlikely. I just hope they find the dickhead who did this.
I'm sorry to hear about your aunt and hope they do as well. Is she in stable condition? However, I am uncertain the connection you made between race and a targeted shooting? I meant it in the sense that it seemed like there was existing conflict between the two parties which escalated.
The article is limited and I apologize if I am off base.
Shes in stable condition and is already being released. Her son was hit in the stomach and has a fractured tailbone but should be just fine. Honestly I doubt race was a factor either because of how liberal and diverse the people are here. Though at the same time she's just a nurse so I have no clue why anyone would target her.
Ah, nurses are mandated reporters. They also sometimes have to do painful things for patients, who may not get why that is the case. Assaults on healthcare workers are pretty common, unfortunately. I haven't heard of it going outside of facility grounds, but it's not like I would get a bulletin. Also plausible that something between children pulled in adults, so the investigators will need to do their thing. Sorry that you are all going through this.
Well wishes to you and your family. Hope for a speedy recovery for all involved.
Wow, that's horrible. I hope they both make a speedy recovery and they find the scumbag who shot them.
Why did you mention african americans and then not answer why you mentioned it
