An obviously high man I was delivering to asked if he was allowed to tip cash. I said of course. He goes into his hotel room and comes out with a lottery scratch off...that he already scratched. It wasn't a winner. His logic is that since it cost him five dollars it's the same as giving me five dollars. I just looked at him and laughed.

He probably had scratched others and won. It's possible he handed you the wrong one. That's a stoned mistake.

And here I have a 60-70 year old man rocking out asking me if "I smoked the green stuff". After I say yes he tells me to hang on and comes back with a 4 pack of half gram infused joints named "el chapo" (still sealed, legal state). I thanked him of course and after my dash I fired one up and got more lit from a J than I have in years. My girlfriend and I both lit one thinking we would easily finish a half gram, neither of us finished more than half. Stuff was primo!
It may not be a $500 winning scratcher (congrats to that person) but that's the best random tip I've personally ever gotten from any job.
