I feel Hyderabad would do good as a union territory. Infact, I feel every major metropolitan city in India should be one. These cities can be managed much better... and the people coming to rule these cities are usually voted by farmers who have very different interests.

I hate option 5. I like option 4, which is highly unlikely, isn't it?
I think option 4 is a better way to maintain peace in the longer run.
Sure, it might lead to some backlash now, but what will happen if 20 years down the line, andhraites come and say "We helped develop Hyderabad with our blood" and all that.. ? stage protests and cry until what they want is given.. this thing will repeat itself.
UT would be a complete disaster. Hyd is landlocked in Telangana.
