Vote Manipulation/Vote Begging
Hi all,
As one of the active mods here, I have been noticing that there is a lot of frustration and some grievances being aired in regards to posts that are asking for upvotes and comments to induce 'chastity sentences.' You most definitely have seen the posts which users are basing their sentences on the upvotes/comments received. This is a violation of some basic rules Reddit has in place to maintain the integrity of communities--I am interested in starting to take action on these posts to better strengthen our community and to promote more substance-based content. A lot of the r/chastity feed does not get a chance to sometimes be seen due to the voting manipulation, this in turn puts a small damper on what you see as a reader on this subreddit.
I would like to hear directly from you guys, our community, to listen to what you all think about the voting manipulation.
I intend on slowly rolling out warnings first. For repeat offenders, I will be rolling out bans. This is not something I take lightly, so I do wish to hear from you all regarding this matter. My attempts to contact other mods about this issue have been futile with no response -- that is ok, people live their lives and are not always online, but it is clear there are some in this community that have an opinion on this matter and their voices should be heard.
Thanks!
EDIT 05/04/2020: All posts with any vote manipulation, ie: asking for upvotes for lock time, will be deleted on sight. Repeat offenders will be investigated, leading to a potential ban.
