Thunderbolt Fury - Scheme Test Model

Very nice!

I plan for this entire fleet to be painted the same shade of grey (call me boring like that), but the coloured panels on the wings and the tail will be how aircraft from different squadrons are told apart, with each Squadron supposed to be specialised for a battlefield role of sorts.
Of course, that doesn't mean only Thunderbolts will have the Blue panels - they will have the occasional support aircraft (so say, a Marauder Destroyer), it is just the Blue Squadron will have more fighters than say, Red, which will consist of mostly Marauders, but still have some Thunderbolts.

The gaming purpose for this is so I don't have loads of identical looking aircraft, making it a bit harder for me to lose track of which is which.

I was thinking of some form of little markings (seeing as the panels over the engines are large enough), but I will reserve those for when they actually earn them, just for that little bit of extra fun.
