So I've got this neighbor, right? A lot of them, really, but this one in particular is... interesting. Sometimes I'll catch his eye while he's walking the dog or playing with his kids, and I'm checking the mail or something similarly mundane.... He doesn't seem to think I notice his gaze lingering on me most of the time, but I do. And I know exactly why he stares, but he doesn't know I know. It wouldn't be good for either of us if he knew what I know, and so I give him a few moments to look - just to look - before I meet his gaze and his eyes dart away. As if ashamed, or maybe just he doesn't want to be caught checking out a much younger woman.

Nearly all of this is true. I exaggerated a few little things here and there, changed some minor details. Just to spice it up a teensy bit.

I don't know why I wrote a script for this. Maybe someone will want to perform their interpretation? I dunno. Feel free, of course, if you'd like to. I'd love to hear another performer's interpretation!
