They wrecked the best feature of owning a Mercedes of that era. The diesel that is famous for going 500k-1,000,000 miles and crazy good fuel mileage.
I get the whole ease of parts and having the power of the 350, but it's a crap swap.
Seriously, you can get the same thing they're trying to go for here, but do it way cheaper and with better a better package overall in a used Crown Vic cop car with better suspension, brakes, alternator, and huge radiator.
