Why set up a username of ‘FriendlyHarry‘ and then sign off as ‘Mike’? I’m from Swindon and 41 and there’s only 1 person in that school year I can think of (across all schools) who went by the name of Harry and 2 who went by Mike. None of them would have said ‘mam’. I’m calling shenanigans on the whole thing.

Also, I only know 2 people who have left Swindon and chose to move back, the rest of us get the hell out and don’t stop running.

I used to work in Swindon, about 14 years ago. Travelled in from another Wilts town every day, by bus - holy shit, Swindon bus station back then was like Crack Alley!

It was indeed! Probably still is tbh. Although the pubs opposite the train station look significantly less rough now than they did 20 years ago so maybe it’s gentrifying?!

I've just read that. Lots of people saying they've read it from the wife's point of view. Couple of suggestions that it's a reverse. I don't remember the wife's thread but if she was handed her arse then I think this is her back trying for different opinions.

One comment says she was handed her arse but a couple say they agreed with the wife on her thread.

I stayed in a Travelodge there and had a meal at Wetherspoons. We were there for a surprise birthday party in Oxford and Swindon Travelodge was half the price.
