Zane's Messy Break Up

Give this a go you will be surprised.

I got an anointed Messy Breakup shield from running the DLC and wanted to experiment with its drones with SNTL. Well what a surprise that was, this is the best Chain Zane build I have made eclipsing the others. I ran it through Voracious Canopy and Lectra City on M4 TVHM and he minced everything to death. Once those speed stacks start building the damage goes through the roof, Redistributor hits for base of about 450 but it was hitting for 2.5K a bullet, then you have SNTL and two Drones doing damage and it all links, its fucking brilliant.

Add to this the classic lines from the shield all the time, "Who is she, I know your seeing someone else".

So I’ve been running chain Zane with a red suit because the damage procs seeing dead. But this is better?

It is brilliant and I am loving it, almost took a sickie just so I could play around with it more lmao.

Took a few runs on that section of the DLC to get an anointed one but was well worth it. Its the only place it drops.

Going to also run it with a rare nade I got for sections with loader bot's. It converts loaderbot's to fight on your side for 8 seconds and could be fun also.

I thought it dropped from genevive? Not the dlc.

Im a dickhead lol, Its a world drop your right but can be farmed from Genevieve. I was using an Epic shield to test it out before and got them confused. At work so cant reference anything atm.

Gotcha! No worries! Do you think the drone does a better job procing seeing dead than does the continual damage of the red suit or embers flame?

Out of curiosity what is your build, I have recently been playing Zane for a break from Fl4k and still working out a build for my Zane.

At work atm so cant give specifics but its a red/blue build with only 3 points in Barrier (green) and they all went to the shield buff. I run SNTL and Digi Clone. Everything is anointed.

Remind me--what's the special effect of the shield? Besides the anointment, I mean.

Spawns a small drone that fires at enemies. Spawns an additional drone when depleted. 15% chance to reflect projectiles while shielded.

The shield has synergy with Moze's Redistribution skill as shots from the drone can trigger the skill. The fire rate of both drones drastically increases when the shield is depleted. The shield does not need to be fully recharged to spawn more drones. As long as the shield breaks, a drone will always spawn. The shield can make capturing enemy vehicles difficult as the drone will continue shooting after the vehicle's occupants have been disabled, potentially destroying the vehicle.

When your shield breaks you don't even care as the 3rd drone proc's increasing your damage yet again for both Drones meaning more kills and increased speed and damage yet again.

You get a secondary drone on shield brake that deals corrosive damage I believe.

While SNTL is active all damage is Cryo so it doesn't really make a huge difference to the build.

My shield broke twice in a couple of seconds last night and I looked up and had 3 friken drones, not sure if it was a bug or if you get one for each time it breaks and the original hasnt timed out yet.

I've always wanted to try this build, drone with the messy breakup and a ton of mirv tidiore guns. In theory it sounds fun but probably not to viable in end game...?

It was a hell of a lot stronger than I was expecting, its all movement speed and damage, you just don't stop and they all die on M4 TVHM, base damage on redistributor was around 450 but it hits at speed for around 2.5k a bullet. The drones were joining in on the amped shots also.

Which anointment on the shield?

From memory it was either 50% cryo or rad for 2 mag's, I was having such a blast at the time I cant remember. Cryo rings a bell though.

You know how it is when you are constantly changing builds looking for that one that really works and they all just merge into one.

I cant wait to get home and run it through the DLC from start to finish as a final test.
