Am I part of the Cabal now?

Worst case scenario, the value of the card fell to below bulk rare status and I lost $150. Knowing the card was RL, I felt like it was worth the long game.
And here I am just needing one lmao. Nice.
If you need one, then buy one.
Oof unnecessary comment
Honestly, it's not. This is a finance subreddit. I mean it as nice as possible, if it's a card then currently need, they should buy it. If they don't need it, wait it out instead of buying into FOMO. Surely it'll come down in price again.

I bought 4 to make that legacy deck cuz I had most the prices. Overpaid at $5 piece but figured it could go up more if I didn’t grab my set
I mean, they're almost at $10 now for mint copies, so I think you did alright!
I can't make this out on my phone. What card did you spec?
I couldn't either, so I did some quick research. [[paradigm shift]]

is your table faux marble? I feel like I have the same one
It is, yeah. 2 inches or so thick, four dark wooden legs.
I like the artful arrangement!
This is the single largest spec I have ever made on a card and not really something I even do anymore. Slowly bought them up during 2017-18 prior to and during the Reserve List spike. My cost basis is around 75c per, I had around 300, but dumped several when the price went to ~$4. Currently sitting on 207 copies, all English, anywhere from MP-Mint.
Will probably let go of a good bit more now, but not all.
FYI, my reasons for targeting this card for those curious-
Reserved List
Unique Effect
Reasonable casting cost
High potential to be broken
Quality art
Nice. Thx for explaining the logic. Good heuristics
Your reasoning is pretty solid and it paid off. Any one or two of these factors won't necessarily make for a good spec, but combining them with imo the most important one (reasonable casting cost) makes for a pretty safe bet.
