Halo CE Flight Input Lag?

Since Reach's release on PC, i really want to enjoy the Halo campaigns coop and I did thoroughly for Reach despite its issues. I'm just hoping that CE doesn't have the same atrocious input lag issues that Reach still does to this day.

Can someone in the flight right now tell me if the input delay is just as bad, or if it's even there? I don't remember it being like that on console.

I haven't personally noticed any input lag, and I've been playing since the flight began.

Have you played coop as the non-host? That’s normally where the problem is.

Oh, I'm sorry; I didn't notice you were talking about co-op.

Halo CE's co-op has the same type of delay-based networking that the other Halos do. Your amount of input lag will ultimately be determined by your ping to the host, unfortunately.

Sorry for the confusion, when people talk about "Halo 1 lag" my mind immediately goes to Halo PC's horrendous netcode.

HCEA PC is pretty smooth, probably because it uses the old PC port. But on the other hand personally I didn't had any issue with the input in the Reach flight either.

Reach doesn't even have input lag issues as long as both the host and the other players have good wifi. I have played played co-op in the flight but I'm always host and my friends haven't had issues. The concern is, since we never had issues with reach (my only friend that did just has WiFi that's isn't very good.)

I really can't guarantee it will work for you

There is lag in multiplayer, but not in campaign. Haven't tested coop yet
