That said I think it with BOTH Legends of Runeterra and Project A going into beta and launching by the end of 2020 I would not expect much news on Project L.
What they showed in the Riot Pls 10 year anniversary was extremely bare bones especially if you compare to what they showed about Project A.
Project L wont be coming in 2020.

LoR is already out and Valorant is releasing this summer
