Windows Store vs. Steam Problems

Hi folks,

Just want to say, I'm really enjoying this game and I've been happy to support the devs before I share my experience...

Last week I convinced three of my friends to pick this up on the Windows Store so that I can play this on my Xbox and/or PC (either direct install on PC or stream from the Xbox). We had a really awful experiences with the Windows Store version of this game. First bug came with streaming this game to my PC using the Xbox console companion app and the Xbox (beta) app. Once I load into the game the controller stops working completely aside from using the Xbox overlay and navigating around there. If I wanted to move back over to the Xbox and use it natively, I had to hard reset my Xbox to get the controller working in-game there as well. Pain in the butt.

In three scenarios, Xbox, Xbox streamed to PC, and PC the 4 of us would get kicked from 8 of 10 games, no matter what we tried, and it was really challenging even getting into the same party. We had to resort to hosting public matches and joining each other, only to get kicked from the match 10 mins in. Grrr.

I noticed in the Discord that most people were having a good experience with the Steam version so I bit the bullet and bought it again on Steam. Night and day difference. It runs better on my machine, have't had a single dropped match in 15 hours of playing over the weekend. Granted I'm on an ultrabook with Intel 10th gen integrated graphics but, I went from low graphics to high/ultra and very smooth.

All in all, I just want to say, we're loving the game but, it really blows that collectively, the four of us spent $240 on the game to learn our lesson and get the Steam version. M$FT denied my refund for the Xbox/Win ver. Hope the devs take note and get the experience to be the same on both platforms.
