What happens to my windows installation if i remove the drive with 'system volume'?

Open

I just built a new computer and i'd like to move one of the hard drives in my old computer to the new system.

In windows disk management the drive i'd like to remove has the status tags ('system, active). Disk0 (C:/, F:/)

The OS, Boot, Logical drive, page file and crash dump is on Disk1 (E:/, D:/).

Will i still be able boot in windows on my old system if i remove the drive with 'system' tag? If not is there anyway to move the system tag to the drive i want to retain?

Endnote: my old computer is using windows 7, new computer is windows 10.

Windows 7 lost full support in Jan 2020. It is recommended you immediately install Win10 (or another supported OS) to keep your machine and network secure.

Just open up the computer and remove power only from the drive you want to remove when the computer is shut down and power it on and find out.
