I also kind of blame the old school alliance for voting out Natalie though. They could have brought in Jeremy, Natalie and Michele and they’d be seven strong with old school having an extra member.

Yesterday i was thinking if Natalie wasn't the first boot and I can totally see her voting out the big dogs after the first tribal council. She isn't the kind of player that want meat shields, so I think it was a good move by old school alliance.

Agreed. Parv and Rob were never going to have control - it's easy to have control of a tribe when you aren’t known for being two of the greatest players of all time...but that's just me! They have such little room to work and they're doing a spectacular job so far. GOATS stay GOATS <3

And I'm thrilled with this season. I actually guessed this alliance a few months back. Everyone was saying Rob was first out and I was arguing I thought him and Parv would be perfect allies and give them both a shot. I thought it was a long shot but I'm so thrilled it actually happened. I keep praying they hold strong. It's such a joy watching them work together :D

Yeah that Ben confessional frustrated me as well. It just goes to show that these guys still don’t understand why she’s good - it’s not that she’s flirty, it’s that she charismatic, charming, smart and cutthroat!

Being the flirt wasn't the root of her gameplay in the first place. The fact he thinks that is part of why Ben isn't very good at the game. Good guy, bad player.

it's amazing watching those legends looking out for each other.
I was super down on (mostly) Rob and Parvati pre season. but FUCK I LOVE THEM THIS SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rob is incredible to watch. The two of them doing what they are doing with those huge targets on their back... incredible Rob still doesn't have a vote!!!!!

Parvati seems so sad and low energy in WoW! NOT intending to criticize - what a strong and amazing woman to look at the big picture and step away briefly from family life for this opportunity for their future. But as a fan, it is markedly different watching her this season

I never thought in a million years they’d team up and he’d be calling her his #1...but I am so happy it happened. They complement each other so well. Instead of trying to eliminate each other to “prove who the GOAT really is” they’re both smart enough to realize that they need each other in this game.
I adore Rob being hellbent on protecting Parvati. Their duo is possibly the strongest of all time...and I’m so glad we get to see it play out this season!!

Yeah I’m really surprised they didn’t go for Parv/Rob. You gotta take the shot at them when you can. Speaks to their skill at the game, imo - and when they team up they’re so scary to target!

I’m not denying they’re great players but people are getting a bit carried away with the hype this season. Rob and Parv have been powerless since Danni ratted them out and Jeremy literally won an All Stars season by taking an alliance of big threats through to the merge. They’re perfect shields for him and I think that was the primary reason they stayed rather than any sort of impressive gameplay on their part.
They’re the two biggest targets of all time...the sheer fact that they’re surviving is a testament to their strength. OF COURSE they’re not going to have power...they’re Parvati and Rob. Their game plan at the moment should be to survive - and that’s exactly what they’re doing.
That’s why when we see all the new schoolers targeting Parv, she’s just living her best life in the ocean - if she tries to play hard, she will go home.
I’ll speak to Parv specifically because I know her game more, but there’s a reason Rob and Ethan called her their #1, Denise literally wanted to give her an idol, and Michele isn’t voting her out because she wants to work with her (even after Parv left her and Jeremy out of the loop episode 1). She’s always targeted from day 1, yet manages to survive. To chalk that up to “people wanting to keep her around for being a meatshield” is undermining her skill at the game
Jeremy and Michele are playing great, and no one’s saying they aren’t. There are a ton of threads celebrating them - this one is for Parv and Rob, two people who have massively exceeded expectations and that we’ll probably never see again after this season. Let us love them!
I mean they are pretty vulnerable and it's not like they were going to have any power to begin with. They are the biggest threats. They literally have to rely on other people to survive and at least Parvati acknowledged that. There is not much they could do especially when Denise found the idol. Being used as shields is their only way to survive at this point and they are well aware of that. But keeping a shield in the game is a double-edged sword when your "shield" is known for being unpredictable and orchestrating some of the biggest blindsides in the game. It takes balls to take such a risk and they have been successful into convincing their tribe into using them as shields apparently. So, yeah, their gameplay might not be as impressive at first sight as you'd expect it to be but you have to consider the fact that they are making the most out of the circumstances. You can't compare Rob and Parvati to Michele and Jeremy. They just don't have the same freedom to strategize and dictate the game that Michele and Jeremy have. When you are everyone's number 1 target surviving tribal council is impressive enough.

I totally expected Rob and Parvati must play together since they have the biggest targets each other, they needed to protect each other. But whenever I insisted Rob must play with Parvati unless he is stupid on sucks, one Rob's stan really disagreed with my opinion.

Dom and Wendell are great, but Parv and Rob are literally THE greats.
So they're the greatest duo simply by the magnitude of their names, but they've been playing together for 3 episodes, one of which they were not on the right side of the vote. But to call them the greatest duo, as in the power of their actual alliance would be wrong

Of course they’re not going to go far, their tribe has been losing like crazy and they’re MEGA threats, but putting the two GOATs heads together makes for a next level survivor player.
