Collectables

What if the publishers would splitt the world into 16 different regions (eg the 11 biggest countries and then the rest of europe, asia, america, australia, africa) and make it so that there is only one type figure available (assigned at random, or by sales of ngnl books avcording to the race pieces) (ok that doesnt sound great when taken out of context)

Of course it would be a hell to organize, but to collect all ("win") you need to get the pieces of all the other "races".

Rules that came to mind:

  1. No shipping outside those assigned countries, or only sold in person, or only in combination with the set in a specific language (eg get the chinese-piece when you buy the anime / LN in chinese)

  2. Pawns be labeled with 1 - 8, so that you could not just collect/buy 8 of the same (which would for the purposes of chess be ok, but not for the purposes of this "game")

  3. If you collect all 16 pieces you get a board and the other 16 pieces from the store (after verifying that its you and your pieces are unique (eg small code thats unique to that individual piece on every piece). If a figure would cost like 50$ or so that would already include like 20 for the completed set for the company selling them, so that the second half either be cheaper or free entirely (because they wont be handing out THAT many sets)

  4. The only way to get the other pieces is to trade them, buy them in person, or steal them (not recommended)

  5. Being caught cheating will result in those figures being removed from the system and you getting disqualified (with system where you have a unique ID so you can look up if that person is still "in" or not when you trade with them, must be able to re-roll the ID after a trade to avoid Identity theft)

  6. I really wish I could make up 10 rules for this

7-9) ???

  1. Profit!!!

I think it would a be great idea for the community to get them to

What do you guys think of this, any suggestions for rules, criticism or anything else on this?

I think it would be a great, unique(?) type of game with benefits for both the community and collectors. Collecrors would have a RARE set, and a small portion of the profit cod be used to finance a season 2 (3???), the community would be forced to interact (lazy weebs!) and overall I dont see any downside to it.
