Maybe this isn't for OP directly...but can someone justify this in terms of feminism please? If the tables were turned, and it said "little virtue in women" we'd be furious! It would be hailed as patriarchy and sexist. Why is men-bashing accepted? I also want to burn the patriarchy but I don't think we accomplish that by treating men the way they've treated women. open to discussion.

No, it's right.
In the west at least, that toxic side of masculinity doesn't allow me to discuss and discover how to deal with my trauma, and as such become healthy enough to stop hurting my friends and family.
So we swim in circles of abuse cycles and wonder why everyone is such an asshole.
