I totally agree about not attacking a person, but the way this guy talks about the severity of the situation, giving more importance to politics rather than informing the general public of how the virus works and why it might be dangerous its total nonsense. Authority in his case was probably given by politics and no by expertise on the subject. He is by all mean an useful idiot, being used by Winnie to wash China's face.

Because in order to get people not to believe his position and power you need to show that he is not deserving of that position or power.
