I gotta say I like the simple looks of the 660cc

Thanks. I'm somewhat of a minimalist and the one thing that I really love about the Jimny is it's simple, old school looks. I like the fact that it does not have any plastic fender flares.

Nice picture!

Question for you if you don't mind, why does this one have the white plates? I've seen a few of these around and I agree, I like the look of them better than the Sierra, but unless I'm mistaken, the white plates means it's not a Kei, right?

To my knowledge, I thought that yellow plates = Kei, which means lower taxes, lower highway tolls, and other legal benefits. White plates = standard cars. My '96 JA-22 has yellow plates and I've always wondered when I see Kei-looking cars (not just Jimnys) with white plates. Know anything about that?

It is a kei model. There are several special edition white plates - one for World Rugby Cup, and two different ones for Tokyo 2020 Olympics (this is what I have). It was kind of a no-brainer choice at only 2,000 yen. You can tell by a small logo in the upper right side.

I'd really like to see it as a convertible with a fold down windscreen.

Yo dude or dudette in Japan. I live down in Shonan, and just ordered my first Jimny. I'm super stoked and can't wait to go camping in it, and set it up with some mods.

If you have any spots or awesome places to drive to, hit me up with them. Thanks!

OK I will! I'm putting my trips on my personal blog and will update soon.
