It's not the driver's fault. It's the car. BMW has engineered assholery into their vehicles, so that anyone behind the wheel of a BMW instantly becomes an asshole.

Does anyone use the default classes? They aren't very well built.

The only one that doesn't cripple it's stat gains by having all three of a stat's associated skills is the Pilgrim (Stealth, Per + End, Security, Block, Armorer, Blunt, Light Armor, Mercantile, Speechcraft; it's not great, mind, but at least it's usable). Actually, neither does the Rogue, but that cripples itself by having Alchemy...
The rest are garbage, especially the Combat classes, most of which have Blade, Blunt and Hand to Hand.

I’ll take most of a default class, but edit it so that Security isn’t a major skill. But most of the non stealth based ones are fine as long as you aren’t planing on efficient leveling.

I do. Well, I've started the game twice before but only now am I playing it for real, so I just used the default classes for my first proper run

I'm using the always get +5 increases on level up on my latest playthrough and it's so good not having to worry about leveling. Efficient leveling takes the fun out of the game for most people.
