That's a long time and huge blow to their spring season. But at least now they know when they will be released, and clearly it's a relief for them. I hope they can be provided with stationary bikes, better food and that they have enough entertainment.
Still far away enough to make up for any form lost before the Tour de France (sadly for Démare, it's still going to be a blow because he probably won't be selected unless he really illustrates himself before the Tour, which will be hard.
I don't know if it has been shared here, but there was a long discussion with Démare published by the team, about him growing old and changing his views on cycling, and what he said was basically now that he was closer to the end than the beginning, he needed to stop racing races he liked and start focusing on racing races that were winnable for him.
It was probably PR for the team, but the underlying message was very clear, no cobbles, no TDF, and probably a focus on every flat ProSeries races.
Sad but hey, maybe for the best
Honestly a little bit of realism last year would have make his 2019 season the one where he was the best sprinter of the Giro, so maybe he needs that.
I'm more afraid for this generation about the fact that they could lost a whole season due to coronavirus.

The same seems to apply to team UAE-Emirates, and has led Diego Ulissi to miss the birth of his daughter.
