Just realized something about Assassin's Creed that may upset people
In one of the early AC games, you can read in a text document that the Shroud of Turin, the cloth that Jesus' body was wrapped in, is a piece of eden. If the Shroud can bring people back to life, what's stopping Ubisoft from eventually making a modern age AC game where the Order of Assassins collected a bunch of the Desmond tissue samples the Templars had and the Shroud and bring him back to life.
Unless there's a story detail that's evaded me that blows this out of the water.
Regardless, I'd love to hear some discussion.

AC Syndicate did sort of imply that. The shroud is actually obtained by the main villain and by the end of the story >!it falls into the hands of the Templars in the modern day setting, which have also recovered Desmond's body.!< Nothing much else has been elaborated on about this plotline since Syndicate due to Assassin's Creed being a cow of a series that will seemingly never get a definitive ending.
Off the top of my head from wiki diving once the shroud was destroyed? when or after it was used to help create Juno a new body. The big bad was then promptly stabbed to death. This super important wrap up of plotlines happens in the comics because ubi are crazy people.
I'm honestly surprised they even bothered to continue the modern day aspect of the series
