Judging someone by some aspect you would normally find immoral becouse that person did something bad is completely hypocritical

A few days ago I saw in other thread a comment get downvoted to hell becouse the user said insulting Weinstein because of his malformed penis was not okay. People said they deserved it because he is a rapist.

I completely agree he is a massive piece of shit, but to say that judging someone by their physical imperfections is immoral and then doing exactly that becouse the person did something bad is hypocritical. It shows that you still judge people by that standard, you just don't say it aloud becouse of social pressure.

People that acted badly should be judged just by those actions.

You're pointing out a double standard and I like that

I get where your comming at, but i dissagre. If you have done somthing that completly villifies you(wiyh proof). You as a person have completly lost all social acceptability and are completly fair game fo any and everything. Myself included.

But would the fact that you criticize that person by something you say people should be judged by shows that you do judge people by those aspects?

EDIT: in the hypothetical case you believe it's wrong for the sake of the argument

Yes its a loop but you need to set a boundry or nothing will ever be solved. And i think that boundry of falling into simple cival order isnt that hard to do. So if you be diddle the little, gratz. Youve just commited social suicide. =D
