It may have changed since publication, but the only four coaches he's followed on Twitter are O, Pelini (both from LSU), Golding (Bama), and Pruitt.

For those that enjoy some off-season talk, this is a possible grad transfer for the Vols that will be playing on Sunday. Could step in at linebacker for us.

If he is for sure playing on sundays why is he grad transferring?

So if you couldn’t read the article because of the paywall, here’s a little summary from why he’s grad transferring.

In his junior year of high school, he suffered a torn ACL which hurt his recruiting stock going into college. Since not too many FBS schools wanted him at the time, he didn’t sweat it and chose to go to NDSU. Pruitt harps on wanting to recruit winners and this guy fits that bill perfectly. He was 45-1 with 3 National Championships at FCS level. He accomplished everything he wanted, but still had the dream of playing at the FBS level and wanted to prove that he can play with the big boys. He’s now decided to grad transfer and already has 45 offers since he decided, including notable schools like Michigan, Notre Dame, last year’s surprise top 10 team Minnesota, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Florida State, and us at UT.

A yes another LB.

All part of Pruitt's master plan to play 11 LBs in man-2-man across the entire line of scrimmage.

I’m so happy with the amount of linebackers Pruitt recruits because of how versatile they can be in natural LB spots or 7 and 9 tech DE.

Plus we suffered around 13 years with little talent or depth at linebacker

We’ve had some studs at LB, but depth is a major issue

I get it, But it seems like we needed Bituli and To'oto'o to play every snap in October and November. I'd love to have another guy who's played in a few games.

This. We're getting depth but still don't have that many first team guys, especially with bituli gone. Hank is a stud. Hopefully crouch can make the jump to starter. But there's a pretty steep drop off after that. Would have been nice if JJ Peterson could have reached his potential but I think he's done.
