it took less than 2 minutes to replace the tank AND the healer(who left without a word), and we were just next to the last boss anyway

Tad bit late to the post. reminds me of a healer who got petty and let me die in holminster as blm when i prepositioned because i figured the tank was going to keep up the big pull pace.

i feel like there are a lot of bad/mediocre tanks and healers who need everything just so even in the most relaxed situations. Not because they can't handle it being done in a faster/more efficient/different-but-effective way, but because they overvalue their own contribution and consequently relish the tiniest amount of power over others. they rely on an idealized, often sub-optimal ("don't LB on trash!!") conception of how all content should work and the slightest deviation from that just gets them absolutely tilted
That tank was definitely controlling. I didn't mind it, he clearly stated what he was doing - like, "I will pull 2 pakcs, then 1, then 2 again". Okay so he's not confident he can tank three packs, that's perfectly fine. Both bosses went by smoothly without any word from anyone. Then he pulled to the summoner trashes - which, again, was perfectly fine. I started leaving(while attacking - I'm a brd after all) when the last mob was at ~10%. It wasn't even about rushing, I just like to get there so that when the tank attacks the next pack I'm already dotting it.
It was basically the most passive play I could pull off. I didn't agro the next pack, I didnt even say anything about his passiveness - which, again, was perfectly fine because I don't expect a speedrunner every run. But then he just types that and leaves because I DARED to walk in front of him.
I don't visit this sub much and tbh I never expected to actually have a story to tell lmao
