Hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) in mid to late June - Snow?
Hey y'all!
Some friends and I were planning to hike the tour du Mont Blanc in mid to late June. We were planning on taking a slow pace and hiking it over 10 days.
The thing that has me worried is the possible presence of snow on the passes. The thing is that none of us have any experience with hiking in snow. Should I consider purchasing crampons or microspikes? Or even an ice axe?
Has anyone of you hiked the TMB in June? Did you encounter snow? If you did, was it necessary to use these things?
Already thanks for the advice guys!

I did part of it in late June. There were some snow, especially at the higher alternates like Col des Fours variante. We had crampons, but we kicked stepped through most of it. It good to have traction devices just in case, even if it's just for the piece of mind.
