Being As An Ocean concert experiences?

Discussion
Recently been listening BAAO a lot again (i go through different parts of my library over time, weird to explain) and it reminded me of a concert i saw them at.

I saw them on the Private Room Tour with Counterparts, Varials, Have Mercy (i think?) and another band i cant remember the name of at this time. I originally was going to this concert as a big fanboy of Counterparts and somewhat for Varials.

Little did i know BAAO was about to put on the craziest show I’ve gone to!

These guys blew me away and stole the show that night!! Joel put on really good performance, walking through the crowd as he was singing and, at one point, hanging upside down from the rafters screaming.

I showed up nearly solely focused on seeing Counterparts but BAAO put on such an emotional/intense show it was the best set of the night.

Was wondering if BAAO is always an intense live show? And what stories about some shows you guys might have?¿

Saw them a few years ago when they did a Co-Headliner with FFAK. The energy was unreal. I can never forget getting the mic put in front of my mouth for the chorus to "The Hardest Part...". And when Joel came into the crowd and had us surround him to scream "God, I'm so sick of this place" gives me chills whenever I remember it

Sounds amazing!!!

Joel was screaming in the crowd for The Hardest Part... and when he got to “try to make our halves a whole” i wont lie and say i wasn’t fighting back some tears.

They have crazy energy and atmosphere

I saw them back in 2014 underworld Camden, got to meet and chat with Joel, told him how much I loved his music etc, he said to me we had connected. During the show he let me kneel on the side of the stage and both singing at each other, he asked me to keep his microphone wire above the crowd whilst he jumped in the middle of everyone. Forever one of my favourite shows

He was super lovely! He could tell I was anxious talking with him and made me feel so at ease :) I felt very lucky, definitely
