I saw it as more of a cheeky one-liner before tossing John with telekinesis.

It wasn't a spell. He was just saying brexit as a joke because John is British.

As sad as it is to see Ray and Nora leaving the show, as well as all the behind the scenes stuff showing that not all is rosy in CW land, I do have to congratulate them on a great episode overall, but one thing piqued my interest most.

Damien's knockback spell on John being "Brexit". Something that the very British Dark Sorcerer was floored by. Thought it was a fun nod to a pretty fun episode.
