Nothing is helping me!

New to this sub so this is a long rant! I am a 34 year old female recovering from DVT and pulmonary embolism. I may have APS (an auto-immune blood disorder). Fortunately the leg and chest pain and far better after 4 weeks, but I have widespread muscle pain, especially back and neck. I’ve had back issues for years but the rest of it is new, as is the severity. I have a 6 month old and can barely perform basic functions to care for her. By the end of the day I am almost in tears. My quality of life has gone to shit. I used to be active (climbing, sports, exercise) and now I can’t even load the dishwasher or play with my daughter.

I am currently taking xarelto so the only OTC med I can take is Tylenol. I also have a script for Baclofen and Tramadol, which don’t seem To help. Lidocaine patches can help a bit, as does CBD cream, but they are short-lived. Even at rest my body just feels so tight.

I have many trigger points and have wondered about Myofascial pain syndrome or Fibromylagia. I also have a history of migraines, insomnia, depression and anxiety. I am doing PT (tried needling/cupping). I’ve had a lumbar MRI that only showed a bulging disc.

Basically I feel I have tried everything and I am getting more depressed each day with the thought of having this pain for the rest of my life. I’m seeing a Naturopathic doctor now in addition to GP/Hematologist/Pulmonologist. She is very compassionate, but also very expensive. I feel no one else, including my family, takes it seriously or understands.

Any ideas on how to proceed? Should I ask my doctor for different meds? How do you cope with debilitating pain and enjoy life?
