How to get J-1 visa for back-to-back internships?

I'm currently applying for J-1 visa with Cultural Vistas for a summer 2020 internship, however since I'm also on J-1 for an internship in the US right now, I don't have full-time course load for this academic year and therefore am a part-time student. Has anyone been in a similar situation before? If so how did you manage to obtain your J-1 despite your part time status?
