Dewback Weapons

What is everyone's thoughts on the Dewbacks and their weapons? I just finished painting mine and I'm thinking to myself that the regular shock prod and the Flamethrower might be the best options to use considering what the Dewback has on offer.

With relentless and spur the unit can easily bridge a gap and make an attack where as the pretty lack luster ranged options don't seem all that worth it. The R7 will rarely get a damage in shooting through heavy cover and the T21 I think relies a little too much on the critical 2 even though it is marginally better than the R7

The Prod and Flamer would really well together and the Dewback should gun in and close the gap right?
