6 months after selling my 86 N/A for $700 (long story) I decided I couldn't stay away anymore

Welp, here I am, and as the title suggests, I'm ready to buy another 944. The problem is I wanna go fast, don't wanna LS swap, and too stubborn to buy a factory turbo car. Whatever I buy is probably gonna be a P.O.S because I can't stay away from them for whatever reason lol. Keep in mind I know how much abuse this car will put me through and I'm willing to accept it, I'm also willing to accept that this car will probably puke it's guts out all over my garage multiple times. On top of that I'm expecting this car to be on jack stands most of its life. With that out of the way I want to hit a higher wheel horsepower figure (if I can get anywhere close to 400 and I'd be ecstatic). I understand that's a long shot and it's cheaper and easier to just LS swap, but I truly believe some power can be made from the stock motor. My question to the community is how do I accomplish my goal? What year car do I buy to start? How hard is it to put together a turbo kit for our cars? Does anyone still have a high horsepower 944?

If any of you do choose to leave your thoughts please be serious about it, I'm well aware of how dumb this is and how this is a waste of money and I should just get my head out of my ass and LS swap or buy a turbo, but this is just an idea I want to kick around and see if it's even possible.
