Should women depicted in cartoons be more realistic or is it just art and we should excuse it?

I recently posted on /rBadWomensAnatomy this post.

Quite a few commenters shot back that this is art and art doesn’t have to imitate life.

I however see all the tiny princesses drawn by Disney and remember my body issues that came from never looking like them, never having the tiny waist and soft curves like the princesses I wanted to be like.

So I disagree and think that we should think of internal organs when drawing cartoons.

What do my feminists think?

Edit: spelling
