Corona virus theory

Anyone else find it odd that for the SARS outbreak we had a vaccine within 6-7 months. And for this one it’s a year to year and a half ? Seems to fit in the timeline the Harvard university provided about how the corona virus will affect 40-70% of people in 1 year. Too much of a coincidence ? Now trumps admin, came out and said they expect the virus outbreak in the US. Trumps not even worried about it, what if they have a vaccine already 🤔 and they’re just waiting for that 40-70% of people to die and then come out with a vaccine (approx. 1 1/2 years from now.
