Laser Beam Sound

Okay so I’ve been researching a lot about the O sees and King gizz laser beams sounds. Many people say set the DD-3 to hold and others say different. Also what do they use the Carbon Copy for? I got a DD-3 and I can get pretty close but not exactly. Any help is appreciative!
