Best Mods to Get Myself Ready?

I'll try to give the best description I can of what I mean by the title.

With DOOM Eternal coming out in just a little more than a week (The GameStop in my area is doing an early release thing at 9pm instead of midnight), and my excitement is reaching an all-time high. To get myself, and others who'll hopefully end up reading this post, what mods for the original DOOM games (preferrably DOOM 2) would you recommend?
