Is it just me? (Aquarius sun/ Aries Rising/ Capricorn Moon)

I’m starting to like this guy he’s a Cancer, a long time friend. I’ve noticed that when I actually start liking someone I start to lose my chill vibe.. I start to feel annoying or like I’m the one giving too much attention and being clingy.. yet I have these other guys who clearly like me and I barely respond to them.. is this just me or is this normal for an aqua once they like someone? .. I can feel myself chasing him and I hate it but also kinda enjoy it? .. Clearly I don’t want to scare him off I just don’t know what the right move is.. any advise would be appreciated :)
