SIB Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster?

I’m pretty new to the franchise, and I already preordered FFVII. I heard FFX was one of the best games in the series. I do like JRPGs (mostly from Tales games) and RPGs in general.

How is the performance of the game and ultimately should I buy it?
