New player here and heard some stuff I would like some clarification on, thanks in advance.

I just started playing 5e around 4 months ago, and heard that a lot of people don't like 4e, but tons like 3.5.

What is it about 4e that makes it so different as to cause a good portion of the players I have met to hate it so passionately.
