A blatant but interesting way guns could be introduced to TES VI

So the dwemer (before they mysteriously disappeared), were known to live in three provinces: Morrowind, Skyrim, and Hammerfell. Two out of the three have been used for games already. Most of the fan base thinks the next game is going to take place in Hammerfell. So in my eyes if the writers were to bring back the dwemer, this would be the game. Assuming they are off in another plane of existence. Given how advanced they were, and how long they’ve been gone; is it really far fetched that they might return more advanced then they were before? Maybe even advanced enough to have created guns? This is a way guns could be written into the lore. Given that Hammerfell is also known for it’s presence of piracy, it would go very well with Hammerfell’s aesthetic. (Btw this is just an idea, I am not saying this is likely, I’m saying it would be cool.)
