Tempted to buy stocks right now

Am I crazy, or is this a good time to pick up some stocks?

I’m thinking of taking a small gamble, maybe $2000, and buy some stocks that have been beat up recently.

If I leave it in savings, I’ll get maybe 1.6% APY.
