New to Arkham games

Hello I just bought the Batman: Arkham Collection on the xbox store for $31.99 with all the DLC’s and expansions. Assuming that’s just an unreal deal? Anyways, i’ve read that Return to Arkham Asylum is a Remastered version of Asylum and City. So do I not have to play the Arkham city game? I know this probably sounds like a dumb question but the collection comes with Return to Arkham, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. That might have sounded confusing, my apologies.
